eGame Marketing

Hi. Overnight, I just got this great idea. eGame Marketing.  I’m going to try to make this a Definition Pillar Article, with a small mix of how-to. See Yaro Starak’s Blog Profits Blueprint: http://blogmastermind.com

What is eGame Marketing? It’s another way of Internet Marketing, but at the moment, it’s a small neglected niche. To me, it may seem a lot, but have you seen how many websites are out there about making money online? Just search that up and look at the millions.

Who is an eGame Marketer? I have 2 examples for this, look at these websites.

http://runescapetopsecrets.com/

This man, has got to be a genius!  Roy Phay, he is a player of Runescape. He started a long time ago, and has now had many successful accounts through trial and error. Now, he’s created a full eBook on how to become good at Runescape! Runescape is a game that children all over play! And with his low price of  $18.99 kids ask their parents and do literally everything they ask!

http://meso-guide.com/

I don’t know who the author of this guide is, but he plays MapleStory. He also started a while back, and developed a guide which is $17. Again, kids come begging for this.

These people don’t make thousands of dollars monthly like successful bloggers, etc. Since this niche is still new, it may become that much in a while.

How can I start off with my very own eGame Marketing Niche?

First of all, you need to target a new game. Nexon is a great place to do that. Sugar Rush and Dungeon Fighter Online are new. Try to keep updated and wait until Open Beta comes out. If you have an 8 hours a day job, try to do this when you come home.

Second, once you know the game you want to target, get a domain. Note: Don’t get a web hosting service yet.. The earlier you get the domain, the better. You’ll have  bigger variety of choices. Go to http://becomeablogger.com/ for great information on starting up a blog.

Why should I blog? Blogging will allow your customers to keep updated with you. You can add weekly posts, and you’ll still be fine.

Third, learn about the game, try to get all of your free time into it, writing down tips in a notebook. If you’re in a RPG game, there should be a level limit. Try to reach that point. And then try to figure out the secrets to making money.

Doing this requires experience in RPG games. And good experience.

Fourth, write your eBook. Try to make it as reader-friendly as possible. Use Microsoft Word for this, it’s the best out there. Then Download the Free Trial or Buy The Program at this website:

Fifth, start getting traffic to your website by telling all of your gaming friends about this website.

Tips on blogging and getting traffic at: http://entreprenuers-journey.com/ or http://problogger.net or http://blogtrafficschool.com/

Sixth, give a free sample or something, cut your eBook and give the first chapter free. Be creative! Get a mailing list, etc.

Seventh, keep your website updated! Go on the game every little while to see if there are any updates! And answer your customer’s emails!

Good Luck!

                                                                                                                                       -Radhika

Hi Trauskerherne! Thanks for reading! No worries in asking a question. I don’t know what you mean by true. The bluestickers website, I couldn’t get to that…but I got to ringtonecarrier.com. Did you read this?:
    * TERMS OF SERVICE I acknowledge that I am subscribing to MobileFunster’s Poly Ringtone subscription service, by entering my cell phone number and the PIN Code that was sent to the cell phone supplied by you on this website and clicking the “Submit” button. I am also confirming that I have read and understood the Terms of Service, and I agree to be legally bound by the Terms of Service. I represent that (1) I am at least eighteen (18) years of age AND (2) I am of legal age to agree to the Terms of Service, or I have my parent’s permission to use and register on this website. Please note that you must be 18 or older in the State of Florida to participate in this offer. I understand that: if my carrier is AT&T, VERIZON WIRELESS, T-MOBILE, CELLULAR ONE, ALLTEL, VIRGIN MOBILE USA, CENTENNIAL WIRELESS OR UNICEL, I will be charged a service fee of $9.99 per month, for which I will receive credits for 5 Poly Ringtone. I understand that all service fees will billed to, or deducted from, the mobile account or the prepaid balance I identified until I reply “STOP” to 22643, or to the initial confirmation message sent to me, to terminate the subscription; and I confirm that I hold the account corresponding to the mobile phone number I have entered, or that I have the account holder’s permission to use this service and incur this fee. Other charges may apply. Unused credits will not be rolled over to next month. Standard messaging charges apply. Games, Monophonic Ringtones, Operator Logos, and Picture Messages are not available to T-Mobile users. Games not available to Verizon Wireless customers. For help, send HELP to 22643.

It says there that it will charge you $9.99 monthly. If you’re willing to pay that, yes, it is true.

I hope I answered your questions! Please subscribe and tell your friends if this helped!

You don’t have to limit to just your ebook you’re selling either. We’ve had good results selling affiliate games (ie: BMTMicro, Plimus, BigFish) to people coming along looking for help :)
